G.W. Painting started with our dad, who has painted homes and businesses across this stretch of Nebraska since 1981 — more than four decades of brushes, ladders, and jobs done right.
Today the company is family-owned and operated in its second generation, run out of Ashland — the small town square between Omaha and Lincoln. The tools have gotten better and the trucks have changed, but the way we work hasn't: show up when you say you will, prep like it matters (it does), use good products, and leave the place cleaner than you found it.

We come out, look at the job with you, and talk honestly about what it needs — and what it doesn't.
The written quote
A clear scope and price in writing, usually within a business day. No vague ranges, no surprise add-ons.
The job
Real prep, quality Sherwin-Williams products, a tidy site every day, and a final walkthrough together before we call it done.
What we believe
- Prep is the job. Paint fails at the corners you cut. So we don't cut them.
- Straight answers. If something doesn't need painting, we'll tell you. If a cheaper approach gets you the same result, we'll tell you that too.
- Your home is not a job site. It's your home. We cover, protect, clean up daily, and treat it that way.
- Reviews are earned. Every five-star review we have came from a real customer — that's the only kind we'll ever have.
